not necessarily the inspiration itself, but the substance of the idea. i think we (person-mind) are shaped by our experiences and surroundings, as individuals. and every idea we can construct is a production of our minds. so, that would lead me to believe that our ideas are influenced by our experiences and surroundings.

i am not trying to make a political statement, its just the route the conversation went--i usually try to stear clear of political conversations because either myself or someone is always offended or has a different point of view and i dont have the time to waste talking about it..
no, i've not heard of that theory before. my feelings somewhat concur with yours in that i believe in destiny and that we're meant to be molded in the way we are. after much thought, i've continued to drag myself in circles and dodge progression in justifying my existance and purpose in this higher continuum(sp?) i'm not entirely sure what i believe as far as what form our soul takes after physical death on earth, it's kind of mind boggling and it makes my brain bleed to think about it(all the more reason to do so).
