the song of the day maybe of a few days as once again communication will become erratic and unsure.
so i guess i'll give a few...
i got to give it film school...you can say they sound like so many other great bands mixed together. bu t the soundscapes take you deep in the mystery and gigantic expectations of night possiblilities, melancholy contemplations driving on night roads and travel in general. "deep lake" is one of my favorite songs right now. if i could i'd smoke a jay and sit in my most comfortable chair and take off into the stars floating about in some kind of beautiful feeling. it's chilled and momentous at the same time. enjoy...
one of my all time favorites is coming out with a new albumn. the smahing pupmkins. i love the song, "ugly". it's dangerous and calls out the need for a little drunken self-destruction. and since i'm in the mood to be a little sentimental i'll look back on all those parties somewhere deep in the night getting all sorts of fucked up and snared in some sort of amorous adventure and waking up into the blue-grey mornings trying to figure out where the hell i was... so get a little reckless.
the last one i'll dedicate to my sweety. the artic monkeys version of, "leave before the lights come on".
it's a littlew sweet drunken lulaby when it's sung by these guys.
word peace and i'm almost out of here,
chris
