It kind of feels like it. I got a stream of bad news this week, and it kind of piled on top of my regular depression, and stress at not having finished any of the projects around the house.
So...I'll break it down
I found out my mom's only brother was diagnosed with the same cancers that their father died of, and was told he would never walk again.
Still dealing with Corey's only living grandma having aggressive cancer and basically just being on a medication cocktail to make her more comfortable (she is more active now that she isn't constantly nauseous or in pain though)
It's been 100 degrees almost all week and that just sucks...and the brush fires are going wild.
I finally got answers on the thing I've been waiting what feels like months for...I won't get to participate, and I kind of...completely lost it when I found out. Pretty sure I went through all the typical stages of grief...and made myself physically sick, so that's cool.
And I'm just..so tired of retail...working it at least. I got moved out of the market section when the manager came back from her temporary leave and stuck in the back to school section. I've been going crazy trying to keep the area looking nice, and it's so much worse with all the rude kids, shoving their way past me, and their rude shitty parents. Apparently I'm not human, that's okay, I don't want to be one anymore anyways.
I really want a bit of retail therapy (online...don't want to deal with people). I had ordered myself a black cat kigurumi (in case I got to, but in case I didn't, as a consolation present to myself), and it arrived today, so yay! But again, it's been 100 degrees, and a fleece kigurumi does not sound like good wardrobe choices for the day.
I took today off, and have tomorrow off, so I'm going to work on putting together our bookshelf and cleaning up the room that has all of the unpacked boxes stashed in it. That will make me feel a little less crazy. Less crazy is probably safer for everyone
Just a quick reminder that I'm having a little print sale over on my facebook page, with a variety of sizes and images, so please take a peek
