We've had a busy weekend, and so far, a pretty busy start to our week.
Corey's family had the little girl they take in one weekend a month this weekend, and we spent the days (or evenings) decorating family Christmas trees. Sunday, Corey and I followed my mom to her father's side of the family's Christmas party...sadly, there was no lefse and lutefisk this year, but my great aunt told me where she usually gets it, so I will be making a trip to get some (I crave that stuff!). Right after that, we drove to Corey's grandparents' house to meet up with his parents and sister and help decorate their massive Christmas tree. luckily we were given drinks (YAY RUM AND EGGNOG) to motivate us. I think we did a damn good job, but looking at all of those bright lights killed my eyes. We had a nice dinner and dessert with them too. Here's all our hard work (and Corey lurking in the background):
We've been walking Molly for his mother so that she can just go straight to the gym after work. It's been raining so much and we took her to an area I'd take pictures of her and I at back in October...here it is all flooded
Corey's mom had also sent us on a mission to get a bunch of SOBE lifewaters in particular flavors for her, today we bought 32 at Target, yesterday we bought 20 at Walmart. Corey had to pose for a picture to show his mom that we had accomplished our mission:
We had some more Christmas shopping to do, and since we only got to briefly see our friend Mel yesterday at work ( you may remember Mel from shooting Waking the Dead and Lullaby, as well as her name being in my garter tattoo), we asked her to come along on our Pike Place adventure, and then took her up to the 40th floor of the Columbia Tower, where we again met up with the dear BAPB who bought us all a coffee.
It's such a cool view while sipping on coffee
She took us to some awesome shops (she's always good for finding shops in Seattle that I don't know about) and we ended up over towards Ballard. Walking towards a bakery that she deeply wanted to show us, we stumbled upon a place that I had to stop, giggle and rush into
They had some of the coolest socks and stuffed animals made out socks I have ever seen....I need to go back when I have moneys. The sign is adorable too, I feel the need to draw adorable little things...
We finally made it to the bakery (we did a whole lot of walking today, but it's good for my ass right?)
It was like a sex shop and a bakery all in one, fucking awesome. There were cakes with tits and dicks on them...so Corey and I each got a cupcake with a vag on it (we're pretty sure they were made of marzipan) and Mel got a cookie with a pair of tits
They wrapped it up so prettily
mmmm pussy
But seriously, it was one of the best cupcakes I've had, the frosting was amazing and the marzipan was nummy.
Corey and I have been working for my dad's company a LOT lately, and we can't wait for our pay checks this friday. But we have bills and more presents to put that money towards. We will have another check the next friday too....yay moneys! Sunday I have an engagement party for my good friend Dami to attend, I get to be a bridesmaid for her wedding too! Need to save up to move out of Corey's parents' house, buy my bridesmaid dress for my best friend Redd's wedding, and then air fare to fly to Texas for Redd's wedding...and a new car....and OMG.....Vegas for Thanksgiving 2011....holy shit I need another job!
So like I said in an announcement, I've given up on the PO box. Corey figures he and I are home most often when the mail comes, so any package I would have go to a PO box we can just snatch up before his parents know about it. So my wishlist now has a shipping address again...oh boy!
Wishlist thing....
Well, I need to get rid of this headache and get some sleep so that I can pick my dad up from the air port tomorrow morning, then work tomorrow night and friday night....oh yay more moneys!
