I volunteered at one of the local humane societu a couple of time and it broke my heart seeing all those cute dogs and cats that needed a home. If I had the space and money I would.
Awwww! That's so great about the human society! That will surely be rewarding and tough at the same time.
And you are my little makeup guru. You will someday have to teach me to be a girly girl, seeing as how I am a complete and utter retard when it comes to sprucing up. lol
Volunteering at the Humane Society is admirable and much needed work, but having been a volunteer for many years I have to warn you that it takes it's toll. You see a lot of very sad, depressing stuff that runs your emotions from abject sympathy to uncontrollable outrage!! You also end up with a lot of pets, hence my 23 cats. As for the rest of your blog, you are such a CHICK!!!
Such a great cause & Im happy to hear youre giving back. Beware though, that urge to bring em home is hard to fight. Our two new twin kittens are a direct result of Spouses volunteer work at our local no-kill shelter.
Oh, and remind me never to let you talk to my kid - not only is she obsessed with makeup, lip gloss & balms, and anything smelly from Bath & Body Works, shes also pestering the shit out of Spouse right now to get a nose ring [of course I said its okay with me if your mother says yes - - but apparently mother doesnt think 13 is old enough - - *it's so unfair*
