gayballs:
My favorite hip hop record is probably Deltron 3030. Del with Automator doing sci fi battle raps. Then its like, Aesop Rock - the Daylight ep.
The new Cut Chemist record is fucking awesome, too.
I'm the whitest hip hop fan alive, though.
Add me on soulseek - Bailamos is the username.
gayballs:
I'm on, I added you.
I can't hang with El-P. I hate to sound like any kind of expert on hip hop (because I clearly don't know much) but I HATE his flow. HATE it.
gayballs:
Same here. I just messaged you.
gayballs:
Anyway, look up Reflection Eternal - Talib Kweli and Hi Tek.
Look up the De La song from the Judgement Night soundtrack.
captainhazzard:
I love Jeru Da Damaja, The Sun Rises In The East is his best album in my opinion. I love the Gravediggers too, everyone should own 6 Feet Deep!
gayballs:
The Sun Rises in the East rules.

Check out the album A Healthy Distrust by Sage Francis. Unbelievably good. Beautiful lyrics, great beats.
shellymc:
i only know some hiphop and rap bands mostly from the 80's,
so i wouldnt be much help.

he aint kidding. the cold vein is a fucking great record though

dorwayin:
I am very dissatisfied by a lot of the new rap that has come out. But you got some goodies on that list. GZA being my favorite. Liquid swords is quite a good album. You might want to look into the other wu-tang albums. If you wanna take it back, check out Slick Rick, Doug E Fresh, Marley Marl, LL Cool J, Kool Mo D, Scarface, Erick Sermon (EPMD) Keith Murray, Red Man (all three in Def Squad), Boogie Down Productions (BDP) and I could go on for a while, but I will stop there.
bringherheart:
I am like never deleting this blog everrr.
I am getting so many good recs.

gayballs:
shut up with your goddamn shipping money. next week you and me are gonna be mix cd buddies anyway.
I've been waiting to impress you for like 6 goddamn weeks.
gayballs:
I'm pretty goddamn impressive.
You're single? Nice. Now I just have to work on it on my end.
Cut Chemist is one of the two DJs from Jurassic 5, a group I can't fuckin stomach.
Deltron 3030 features Del da FUnky Homosapien from the first gorrilaz disc.
Dan the Automator, the producer from Deltron also produced the first gorillaz disc. now its DangerMouse.
Kid Koala who does all the scratching on Deltron did all the scratching on the first Gorillaz disc.
There's even a Deltron song that features Damon Albarn, who is the main non-rap vocalist from Gorillaz. The brain child.

Good ear.
You're not that hard to impress though, if you're listening to the Gorillaz. heh
