So, after living in Beaverton, OR for about a year and a half, I have to say, I LOVE living in Oregon.
Yes, there are trials and tribulations. My "Family" (my mothers family, nearly all of whom live within 90 minutes of here) are not as "receptive" to me living here. Living so far from my wife's family has proven very challenging for her, and that adds a lot of stress. (to an already stressful relationship.) Having to travel to Los Angeles 6 times since I moved here hasn't helped either.
On the other hand, the Positive side, Oregon is Beautiful. I love waking up to the green trees, the rain, the weather, even the people. Live for me is better here. It works for me. I love the Oregon Coast, the Columbia River Valley, Beaverton, Hillsboro (the local towns) I just really love this area. It feels like home to me.
I hope that the rest of it all smooths out in time.
Meanwhile, I would LOVE to meet more people here. I would love to take more pictures. (and buy another awesome lens that I want.)
