School started last week -- I teach now. It sucks. About half of my students have ability, and about half should be shoved into a deep hole and covered with unsanitary waste. I really like those that belong in university and I have a love/hate relationship with the ones that lack the skills, but were convinced that a university education is for them.
Am I the keeper of the standards? Do we all deserve degrees? Should standards be lowered so more students can pass? Not my idea of a good set of choices. I hate my job - I just want to be drunk a lot.

Still drinking a lot, but slightly less. I want to live a few years and my liver is complaining. Tequila is the answer to most problems. Hate my job even more now I drink less. Should hell come sooner or later?
