Well I had typed out this big 'ol journal entry, and then I pressed a bottom and away it went.
Anyways, the holidays are coming and going. I worked a short shift on Thanksgiving. I got to work at 2:30 and the few flights we had were done by 5, so I sat and watched Dr. Who while I was coordinating the flights. I've worked my ass off this week, seriously between Sunday and Monday I worked 27.5 hours. That with having holiday pay on this check means finishing what little shopping I have left isn't going to be much of a problem. I'm super excited cause I think I got/am getting some good gifts for people (Hand_of_Skatan, Roxymonoxcide and Nonsense I'm lookin at you). I also signed up on reddit to do their secret Santa gift exchange. I'm enjoying the community, I'm slightly confused about how to do somethings on the site, but I am trying to learn and looking forward to participating more.
Christmas time also means time for a friend's annual themed costume Christmas party. Last year was super heroes, I was Kim Possible and won the costume contest. This year Hand_of_Skatan is going to be in the country so we're going as characters from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I'm going as Hermes the elf who wants to be a dentist:
I'm making the costume and I think it's gonna turn out awesome. Hand_of_Skatan is going as Yukon Cornelious:
The wigs are on their way and I'm starting the red beanie tonight. I think we're gonna have a chance at bringing home another trophy!
