I am currently sitting on Cedar's couch in my underwear, trying not to melt (because as it gets later into the night it seems to be getting hotter in here ) waiting for her to put on another episode of the L Word, which I'm really starting to like (I had only seen one episode until tonight). Ughhh it's sooo hot! I'm melting meeellltttting!

Anyways before I came over to the blast furnace otherwise know as Cedar's apartment I was able to finish two more paintings. I am really enjoying painting, and mostly it's because I seem to be able to get what's in my head onto the canvas and it's really encouraging. It makes me feel like I can accomplish things and have some sort of skill (which is nice because I have been in a major funk all week). I know they're pretty simple and silly, but they make me happy and at this point that's all that matters.


I noticed when I took the picture that his belt came out more blue than black, some I'm going to have to fix it, but other wise I am very happy with my little Ninja Star!


His face looked better on the drawing I did, but I am still very happy with him, and yes that is a peg leg. I think I will call him Bob.


This was the first one. Bob and this one are going to be part of a five painting set.
