I'm kind of dumb when it comes to computer talk. What does this m/ or this \m/ mean?

Hi,
right now I'm taking science of food and nutrition, psychology, group counseling, and world history...
am trying to eventually take all the classes in the certification for substance abuse counseling program because I want to specialize in working with people in recovery at my private practice...(Yeah, I know, don't laugh...)
Computer talk isn't my thing either.
