My little hambone is doing good. When the vet took off her tumor my sister saved it for me. Yes, I like to look at tumors. It looked just like a scallop, about the same size, shape, and color. I showed my roomate and he said the same thing, so I told him if he wanted I would saute it for him with some garlic butter. He said no. Then we disposed of it.
School is being very demanding right now. I guess I shouldn't expect to just coast through them with no effort, although I wish that were the case.
Yesterday I saw a construction site for a new Walmart.
How sad. The land where their building and others are being developed used to be a huge and beautiful horse farm. Here is part of an article: "A Home Depot and Super Wal-Mart could soon rest in the same spot where 18 famous racehorses now rest in peace on Hamburg Place Farm.
Developer Patrick Madden has asked city planners to rezone a 58-acre chunk of his family's famed horse farm to make way for 436,900 square feet of retail space and nearly 2,500 parking spots.
If approved by the Urban County Planning Commission, the new shopping center would put pavement where 18 famed horses, dating back to 1898 Kentucky Derby winner Plaudit, are now buried.
Madden said yesterday that he intends to relocate the graves."
It's such a shame that these people don't care about history and preservation. Why can't they leave the horse farms alone and develop around them?
Time to go to school...Bye.

I'm glad that your doggie's ok.
Good luck with school, I feel your pain and am wondering why the hell I decided to go back to it in the first place.
