Why does life have to be so complex!
Today at work my boss came up to me, said hey do you want a raise, and a really easy job. I said more money and easier of course I want it. Anyway a girl is quiting (maybe, she'll know tomarrow if shes taking her new job or not.) and if she leaves they want me to take her place. Which is cool I get to be the boss of two people and more money. So whats the problem you ask! JILL!!!!!!! 
I've worked next to her for over a year.
I told her I was getting a new job. She gave me one of those puppy dog looks. I was in training all day today and at break she came over to me all sad looking and said that she missed me. So now I feel guilty and yes I missed her today! Why can't I be happy!!!!! I need the money but I hate feeling guilty!
I know I'll still see her, hang out, and I'm moving down the street from her so she can visit me when ever she wants to but we have fun working together! Maybe it will be what we need to admite the way we feel for each other or maybe we'll grow apart. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!

I think you're right about it being the best thing or the worst thing for your relationship with Jill but I have a feeling you'll be pleasantly surprised. It seems to be in the cards that you and Jill are going to hit it off. I see a few problems and obsticals but they can be overcome with effort. (on both your parts)

Oh my fuck! I saw the cutest shit at this one dept store today. Homer Soap on a fucking rope and The Simpsons shaving kits. You can pretty much find anything Simpsons out here. Its like the fucking Irish are obscessed with the Simpsons. (I kept thinking that your bathroom must be full of all that stuff) They had adorable Betty Boop crap too. One of the cosmetic bags they had had pin-up girls on it.
