Yay we are all chopping off our hair! As far as my weekends go i'm planning to go to the church or rock island on sunday if i can find some friends to go with if not it's off to the Mercury cafe for poetry readings so if you want to tag along feel free but i might not be able to pull you away from Opus wink
_pauly_:
I love your geekiness biggrin. I just wish there were more girls like you here biggrin

geekygoo:
Plans??? Here??? In the Land of the Corn?

Oh my Hubbybear and I are going out to eat with another newly married couple we know, that's about it. Well, at least until a weekend in September. Then the brand new sports stadium downtown will be hosting a Greenday concert and I'll be going...

That's not too bad I guess, although the Dark Arts Festival sounds SO cool!! Have fun...think about me, ha-ha! wink
genghiskhan:
you've sen 7 cirque shows?
I've seen 3, and I REALLY want to see the one in Vegas. how was it?
lithiam:
I ended up at the Mercury Cafe for the slam poetry. Sorry right now i'm trying to save money so going to the Dark Arts festival isn't really going to help that. Plus with spending the last semesters with a bunch of pertentious art people kinda gave me my fill of pertentiousness. So i'm not really willing to go back into the goth scene. Sorry.
genghiskhan:
i was talking about zoomanity
genghiskhan:
awesome. when (and if) I get out to Vegas that is the first thing I am doing. I thought that show looked great.

the last one I saw was La Nouba...and to tell you the truth I thought it was on the lower end of the totem pole. most of the act were really impressive, but as an overall concept it kind of sucked
genghiskhan:
yeah! that's exactly it. I saw it YEARS ago and I still remember feeling like I wasted my time. Could you make head or tail about what was going on? I read a little about it and it just doesn't make sense imagery wise and have the same flow the other shows do.

What the eff was with the strong man in the tarzan get up anyhow?

_pauly_:
Thank you for the well wishes hon'. It really meant lot to me.

I'm feeling alot better now, still sore, but alot better.

I have'nt heard from you in ages on Yahoo. I hope everythings ok. I'll try and catch you someday biggrin

Lots of love Hon' and thank you for the well wishes kiss kiss kiss
jessewestend:

jessewestend:
I just like knowing what people look like...

I'm glad someone agrees with my comment in PSW. I'm sure it might ruffle some feathers, but I think it's pretty true just the same.

I want to go to a dark arts festival, that sounds like a lot of fun!

This weekend is my hubbys berfday. I think we are going bowling, and possibly to the driving range. Should be fun...even though it's what we did on MY birthday in April. LOL> We had such a good time then, that my hubby wants to do it again. biggrin
