Yeah, that face does not at all encourage me to get my first tattoo. Invariably everyone who tells me it doesn't hurt shows me a picture similar to that.
I'm pissed off about almost everyone who's quit in the last few days.
Elbows sure test your ability to sit dead still. I had one spot where I literally had to hold the arm being tattooed into place to stop an involuntary twitch that would happen each time the needles ran across a particular area. I wish I'd had a photo of that, all twisted up and shit...
Makes me even more desperate to get back under the gun. It's been too long.
Yeah, I wanted to get up there, but a friend had a pretty tough housewarming party Sat night too. This weekend there is a big ass rockabilly ball in seattle this weekend, but I can only handle so much of that shit. I wanted to send you the link on that chopper, my buddy sold it once but the buyer flaked on him. He just sold it again monday. I'll see if I can get a pic of it, you'd dig it. OD green, 50 cal. shell on a tall ass suicide shifter, grenade on the kick, and an ammo can battery box.
That's great that you're getting certified. Once you get used to the idea of strapping a bunch of really heavy shit to yourself and jumping in the water, it's really fun. I need to do some more diving up there. I only managed a couple of dives up there and I didn't see a giant pacific octopus on either one.
I finally got my ass into gear to check out the Assasinators website...fucking cool!!!
The mp3s sound great! You gonna have anything coming out on CD/LP???
Would I be mistaken in hearing a Poison Idea influence somewhere in there?? I fucking LOVED that band (haven't really listened to 'em for years but damn, their shit was the best....from start to finish!! I met Jerry A years ago when he came out for shows with the Hard Ons - what a crazy motherfucker!! Great shows but nothing would have compared to seeing PI).
Anyway, good to hear your stuff. Looking forward to hearing more...
sorry i couldn't hang out while you got your tattoo done.
i am in fact, quite ill. it's so inconvenient, too. now that people actually call and want to hang out, i feel too crappy to do so. pfft.
