a quick story about the painful nature of braces: yesterday i went in to see my orthodontist who is preparing me for my oral surgery this july (eek! im so scared about it) and he put in the most painful tight wire on my lower teeth i have ever felt in my 4 years of experience having braces. he was pushing the wire down so hard onto my tooth that he broke off the bracket by hand, let me tell u now, breaking off a bracket by hand feels like being kicked in the face by a horse or something. due to that supreme force- i was required to stay an extra half hour so that they could redo the painful procedure all over again- just because my orthodontist was having a bad day or something. this is just a mild introduction to the future pain i will feel after the surgery in july.
thank goodness for pain relievers...
