as much as I'd love for you to be my roommate, it sounds like you have a great job there. I haven't heard anything about drag kings here...but have a handful of drag queen friends (I think there's a pun in that somewhere, if so disregard it). my first wife I'd had some what of a crush on from afar for 6 years before we actually met face to face... drunk...on a dance pole at a gay club. at least that lasted 2 1/2 years before my illness drove us apart.
