Could you change your name and assume a new identity?
Maybe one that's not so sad this time.
Come on girl and wipe those shadows from your eyes.
Don't think I can't see you
Squirming in your shirt
Tugging cover over
Nasty fractures and hurts.
And yeah,
I think you've got the right idea.
A little cloth could do the trick.
Just try a little harder, pumpkin.
You haven't reached the part
Where I'm convinced of it.
Keep all those troubles concealed,
Flash me that dimpled daddy's girl smile.
Now laugh a little harder, please.
Devastation's out of style.
It doesn't matter you look a perfect truth,
Suck up those problems, hold up your chin.
The only thing that matters to me
Is what's seen,
not what's in.
I'd ask all your secrets and stories
But looks like no fun ones are left.
Just saves me time, really.
I'll just eat you with my eyes instead.
