i bought brand new eye glasses tonite. a pair i wouldn't normally see myself wearing, but i was compelled. they are black and two shades of pink. PINK!!!

what has my world come to?

i also took my three beautiful sons and two of their friends out to chiang mai tai, and now i am home. on the way here my six year old asked if he could watch 'yellow submarine' when we got home. now he is singing merrily along as i write this..."i look at all the lonely people...". beautiful!

so anyway, today has been a better day than yesterday. i'm happy.

here's something weird....the snow patrol show is may eleventh, the day my mom died. another show i am going to is the dogs die in hot cars show on april eleventh, my mom's birthdate. i know that it's really just coincidence but i think it's a good thing that this year i will be places that make me happy on two days that generally make me melancholy.

well i am off to bed, need rest.
