I've been playing this song over and over recently. The Casket Girls play (according to their FB page) eerie-pop; which is a great description for the melancholic dual female vocals. The lyrics make me sad. In the beginning of the song they say they swatted at a moth and how something done without much thought could really upset someone.
I swatted at a moth
And a chill came over me
It was simple on my part
But it left him spinning
Then they say:
I swatted at a moth
I could have caught him in my hand
Instead of brushing someone away or even attacking them you could be there to help. Pretty obvious, but I really love it.
