I saw it years ago and loved it. Fun fact: Arronofsky stole some shots from it for Requeim For A Dream. 

You clearly have great taste! Perfect Blue is a masterpiece of anime. I'd add to what @NERDMACHINE has said by pointing out that this was clearly an inspiration for Arronofsky's "Black Swan".  I think he bought the rights to it as well. 

Masterpiece. Still got my VHS copy from the '90s.
