So Gamestop sucks ass. Srsly.
I place a preorder for Wrath of the Lich King Collectors edition. Make a 50 dollar deposit and get my register conformation.
I go to gamestop to pick it up. Hand over my receipt and wait for my game. The guy comes back with a regular edition. I look and say its supposed to be for the collectors edition. He says that the SKU on the receipt says that its the regular edition. I tell him that has to be a mistake. Why would I put 50 down for a 40 dollar game.He was understanding and says I see your point. Let me see if we have and CE's in back. He checks inventory and says that his store did not get any at all. He apoligizes and gives me my money back.
I go back to the office and check out Circuit City. They have in stock based on their online inventory. I place an order and I get the confirmation. print out my recipt and wait till the day is over to go over to pick it up.
I go to the customer service counter to pick it up. Its not there. She calls the inventory guy to bring it up. he calls back saying he cant find it. No luck hes looking for it and the manager comes up and says theres a possibility that its still in boxes. Their delivery came in late and not all of it is unpacked. The girl tells me that normally they get the notification of a sotre pick up and they pull it off the shelves. She apologizes to me. Im dejected. Game for me. They eventually find the game. It is behind the register in the computer section. They bring it down. I get a 24 dollar gift card because it took longer than 24 minutes for me to get my order. She says she sorry for her ignorant co workers and it will be addressed. i told her not to worry im happy I got my game.
My main is now 71 and my Death knight is 58. She is tearing up outland. woot.
In other news. I got my stitches removed today. My body rejected them and I got an infection. Oh joy. I have to change my dressing and pack the wound. its gonna be hard for me to do it since its under my armpit. The pain is getting better because they irrigated it.
