Jesus Christ. The first thing is that it sucks that you're getting diagnosed every time you see a doctor. Do they not share notes???? As you know, I too have BPD. I take lithium, but only at a level closer to lower end. that is perfect. I still "feel" and can function quite well, but I don't suffer like I used to. What I did find helpful too was cognitive therapy. This I plan to take up again when my back is starting to get better. It basically teaches you how to react to your thoughts and feelings and identify what is being caused by the disorder. I mean basically, your brain is a series of electrical and chemical impulses.....your thoughts are a result of some of this, if you change your thought you change the impulse. Its very helpful and has a massive success rate. I'm not sure if your insurance will allow you this kind of therapy, but its worth looking into if you can.
You should move here. When you are diagnosed here, the doc fills out a bunch of forms for what is called a "mental health plan" this entitles you to a number of free sessions with the therapist of your choice.

well im glad you tried to go elsewhere but that is crap! are all the therapists over there quacks or fucking what??? they can shove it up their asses. miss you whore tart
I only saw that first video, but that really looked to me like she was just doped up on a downer for the first interview then the second interview was done while she was manic. Looks like total bullshit done for the sake of gaining patients and funding. Hope you don't have to do that. Personally, I say just get out and get some sun for a lil bit. Come nightfall when it's nice n cool, ride a bike for a while and get some exersize. Nothing helps to relieve depresive episodes like exersize, belive me.
Ooh I didn't realise we were so similar; I have depression and BPD too. I feel your frustration about seeing different doctors every time. It's the same over here. How the hell they are supposed to help when half of what they are basing stuff on is a load of short-hand notes, I don't know. And it sucks having to tell the whoooole story over and over again.
Those videos are scary and from what I know (my degree is in Neuroscience) ECT really isn't a good option, even as a last resort. I think it's unlikely that any one type of treatment is going to be a miracle cure. Depression and BPD are multi-faceted and need a smiliar aproach in treatment. *Sigh* Hark at me ramble. So yeah, if they try and put you near any electrodes, kick 'em where it hurts. Zombie bb would make me saaaad
