NICE!! I hearitly approve of your civic engagement. Go BB!

LOL! (but not at the circumstance frown ). Spouse is absolutely freaking over this and claims she won't fly under these conditions. Being a bit less modest, and perhaps more inured to "nudity," I'm not too concerned personally, but I understand the trepidation. However, as an attorney, I'm very interested in how this will all play out. I assume the SCOTUS is going to analogize to the the "border search exception" under the 4th Amendment like e.g. United States v. Ramsey, 431 U.S. 606, 619, 97 S.Ct. 1972, 52 L.Ed.2d 617 (1977), but I don't think the statute authorizing Customs border searches, Section 1581 of Title 19 of the United States Code, is applicable. Of course, I haven't really looked into how the reorganization of Customs, the TSA and post-911 legislation will impact the debate, but it's interesting as hell . . . well, at least to me.

Now I'm wondering what would happen if you showed up in a bikini?
papat:
it just seems like all those efforts are futile when a terrorist could still smuggle something up the ol' poo-chute

that's kinda wild that you were in some of my realllly old stompin' grounds ...i went to school for a bit at CMC (up in the hills over carbondale)

the single trip for me lately is the dichotomy between hanging with kids for half a week and then doin' the rest at my own clip, which is usually solo given the relationship status of so many of my comrades ...it's a peculiar dynamic on many levels

5 am ...eegads ...coulda painted the living room

this is indeed a crazy small world

i studied photography up there for a few semesters ...worked at the hot springs pool and then later the hotel denver. I had to double check your age to see if perhaps we had ever partied together as i had a roomie who was dating a high school girl and she often brought her friends up to our parties ...but nope, you were only eleven or twelve at the time ...got any older sisters? I'm sure I must have gone into your parents' store, but I just can't remember any specifics.

I kinda miss that place and time ...cheap skiing up at sunlight, the views of mt sopris, getting lost out on the backroads whilst tripping, the broomball tourneys in that park in town, charcoburger...

indeed, I knew a long time ago I was not forged for a conventional life. Like you, I'd grow mad were I to live in homogeny and domestication.

portland is indeed an incredible place

I may have picked up one of your discarded, wimpy olive green towels ...perhaps then, our quantum thread was birthed
