Don't forget that for Canada the war dead are not long gone--we are still fighting in Afghanistan. Yesterday was for them, too.

Being in the US, I really miss the warm feeling of Remembrance Day in Canada. It was like we were all coming together to honour those who fell for us, and here it wasn't even a real holiday. I miss wearing the poppy.
