more work. thank the gods that i get holidays next week. i'm starting to lose my mind. well, no, not starting. continuing, but the pace is quicker this week.
going to shakespeare on the saskatchewan next week with my sister. we're leaving wednesday, seeing the wednesday evening play, staying overnight, seeing the thursday afternoon matinee, and then returning to regina. we'll see how it turns out - her and i have never been on a road trip like this together. we may kill each other. or have a lovely time. it's really a 50/50 chance. other plans for the week of holidays include much sleep and relaxing, and possibly copious amounts of baldur's gate or some other lovely games on the gamecube or the computer.
next year, maybe i'll save up all my holidays and take a week or two to go up north and do some field work volunteering. our field season is usually pretty much over by the middle of august, so i could afford to take the time. it would almost be like i'd be getting paid to do field work...'cause i'd be on holidays...and getting paid from here...yeah...
yesterday i went to Chapters with a good witchy friend of mine. we drank yummy things at Starbucks and bought cheap bargain books. and my geeky biology self was made so very happy when i found this wonderful book for $2.99.
