Hey I almost got ran over today too. Damn the Man for trying to kill me. Your right it wasn't freezing but it was close if that counts. I thought that I had frostbite. but appartently that has passed.

why is it that most people tend to drive faster when it is raining out? Oh and when I jusmped out of the way of the car like you I was splashed with a huge puddle of water. I was wet for quite a long time after that.

Yes I am dry now but do you have any idea how uncomfortable it is to have wet underwear on for 9 hours straight. Oh well I am dry now and it is time to turn that frown upside down. Where exactly is Banff?

i. I'd go to New Orleans and get my tattoo fixed, eat beignets, spend all day walking around the French Quarter, spend way too much at the voodoo shops, and hopefully have a lot of sex.
ii. Red lightning! I saw some one night on a drive to Florida from Georgia-it wasn't raining, and the lightning came down at a near horizontal angle. It was gorgeous!
iii. I would like to be financially independent.
iv. I am weak, I confess! My big weaknesses are drugstores, lingerie shops, and body stuff (scrubs, soaps, lotions, etc.).

I am so glad you're alive, too! It seems like everyone is having weird dreams lately. Whenever I can't sleep I take diphenhydramine. Promethazine is good, but you need an rx, at least here in the US. Oooh, ooooh, if you can get it in Canada without an rx, I want some!

If you would like to try some herbal sleepytime stuff, I recommend:

Using one chamomile tea bag, simmer in a large mug's worth of milk for 10 - 12 minutes, add 2 - 3 full dropper's of liquid valarian root and honey to taste. Sweet slumber.

wow good questions this fine friday here in St. Charles Missouri . . . the perfect kind of friday for a seven hour long nap . . .

i. I think Sundance Film Festival starts this weekned in which case it would be that but if not I would prolly just spend the whole grand on comics and trades and Television seasons on DVD (like Homicide and Brooklyn South and NYPD Blue) and sit in my living room and relax and take the weekend off of work. I really like my house though and a getaway for me is really more in the mind than the body.

ii. as much as my knees don't like it I am really a fan of rain and while it may not necessarily be a phenomena since it happens all the time it is one of my favorite things. now phosphorescent algae in the ocean when there are really good waves is one of the coolest things I have ever seen but it is not atmospheric.

iii. hrmm . . . hard one. my weight, because while it is not something I am uncomfortable with enough to actually effort to change since I am actually rather certain I am built the way I am supposed to be if I could just wish it away I might just in hopes of getting more attention from women.

iv. in some senses yes in others no. I will get any product that makes cleaning my house easier since I rarely if ever actually do it and I have lapsed in the realm of getting suckered into trying new foods and stuff like that all the time from commercials and ads but really I am pretty consistent about what I buy and what I avoid at all costs.

wow that was a close call Im glad you got out of the way in time. We didn't get get the freezing rain here which makes me happy cause everyone drives so freaking slow when it gets a little icy get out of my way Im already late .

I have similar problems with not sleeping well (and having stupid dreams) - I heard Ambien helps, but I'm hesitant to take something habit-forming...

i. I'd like to go to the Blue Ridge Mountains in NC, stay in a cabin with a fireplace, have lots of sex, play in the snow, and (like you) no cell phones...
ii. Lightning - especially over the ocean
iii. I'd like to quit my job and go to an Ivy League grad school full-time

- i would grab the boyfriend and the ruca girl and drive up to the alma mater. we would get a room at the bed and breakfast, we would buy some bicycles and ride down the bike path. we would visit professors and kiss in old classrooms.

- i would have to say ditto on the lightening.
