I wrote a paper on Masochism. I compared and contrasted it to Sadism, talked about the historical origins, and the lifestyles of both Masoch and Sade, talked about how sado-masochism is truly an oxymoronic word. Excellent reading fun, and the instructor seemed to enjoy it a great deal.

Whoops, I almost forgot, the most fun part was going to Bondage a go go to observe masochism in person...

For the paper, I say go with what you already know (unless you're burned out on the subject). If your class load is anything like mine, anything that reduces work is preferred.

i'm more opinonated about gangs than some. but i used to be in a bad crowd, and had friends that were in the gangs.

How about a paper on recovering addicts an alcoholics and their tendency towards selfdestruction and misery.
Their need to keep themselvs from being happy, as if they some how don't think they deserve it and make sure to maintain some level of self induced discontentment.

Also the weird balance between perfectionistic tendency mixed with that good old who gives a fuck attitude.
