You know what? Last night I had a pint of Guiness in my hand and I thought what it would've been like to have one w/ you, but I'd replace the Guiness w/ some good Old Speckled Hen. I can't get any on this side of the pond, and sometimes that pisses me off. So, if you have a chance bro, next time you make a stop @ the local pub, maybe you can get a pint and enjoy it for me. wow, that's a great story. I mean I couldn't give two hoots about royalty in itself but that does make for a great story. Your description of the entourage gave me quite a chuckle too. Funnily enough I recently watched the film, The Queen with Helen Mirren. Again, I watched it because of the quality of the cast rather than a particular interest in the royals themselves but I found it fascinating. Not only is it a great film, it's a very thought provoking piece concerning the royal family. If you haven't seen it I would greatly recommend it. Remarkably it managed to muster some degree of sympathy in me for the queen. Although my opinion of Phillip as an obnoxious piece of shit was merely reinforced.

As for the thing on the Water Margin, yeah, that's funny. I actually quite like the fact that you saw it, in some sort of oblique way it serves to validate the interactions that happen here. Like, we're telling the truth, we are real people and there is some sort of link between this and reality; it's not all ones and zeros.

Sounds like things are pretty full on with the family. Kids are great but hard work when they're doing their whirling dervish routine. I don't think I could handle the lack of sleep...!
