Did the primary buffer panel just fall off my gorram ship for no apparent reason?!
Sunday morning drive to the climbing wall! Time to make sure my poor friend isn't overpowered by his first date and her two friends who were coming along for this 'group climbing get together'
There was a popping noise.
and the thermostat jacked up to "very hot"
I limped the car to the climbing wall, and figured I'd deal with this later. I've gotta get get my climb on first. So around noon, I excuse myself from climbing to deal with my busted car.
Oh wait. it isn't Saturday. Today is Sunday and no garage anywhere near here is open!
But Road Side Assistance gets a tow truck company who also owns a garage. No problem. They say it should be easily fixed 'first thing in the morning'.
I called them around 8am. "yeah we'll get back to you when we know what the problem is"
my car is being held hostage and I'm lucky to know the address of where exactly it is....
This did prevent me from going to any Superbowl parties.
This is the captain. We have a...little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then...explode
