It's official. I'm in love with Oscillococcinum (try saying that 3 times fast). It's a homeopathic for the flu that a family friend recommended one of the last times I got sick. This time I took it religiously, even setting my alarm to take it in the middle of the night and early morning. 24 hours after I started taking it... I got my appetite back A couple more hours (last night) and I felt completely normal again. I feel totally fine today

For the next 10 or so day, I'm keeping my sister's dog company in the basement. I live with my mom and my sister, her hubby, and their 2 munchkins live in the basement turned apartment. They just left last night to drive down to Phoenix and their old man of a dog gets very lonely (he started barking only an hour after they left). He's pretty much used to someone being home all the time because my bro-in-law is a free-lance artist and is home pretty much all the time with the kids. So I'm essentially moving in downstairs for the time being and I love it I feel sane in their place... it's nice and clean and tidy, and I get my own bathroom. Whereas, upstairs is a disaster (my mom has been remodeling for the past 5 years and she's a bit of a packrat) and I have to share a bathroom with her and my disgusting brother. Oh, and I get to avoid my brother even more! We really don't get along. Oh sanity, peace, and quiet... you are my friend for the next 10 days. Thank you

Now I have to look into doing taxes very soon here so that I can get my refund back before my trip Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but if I only made like $5,000 "legally" last year, I get most of my taxes back, right?
