I have a new barometer for judging a trip to the cinema - Is the film more or less entertaining than the Orange ad before it? The New(ish) one with Sean Austin (or is it Astin?) cracked me up; especially the pay-off at the end...
This weekend I mostly expanded my musical horizons by going to Kenwood House for the Jazz Cafe picnic (with thanks to my local paper for the free tickets!). Lovely setting, lots of wine but not really my taste in music - still there are far worse ways of mooching on a weekend.
Still no joy on the job front; I have an emergency plan B job that starts at the weekend if everything else comes up blank but it's truly the job equivalent of sucking Satan's scaly cock
