If you've never seen or read M. Butterfly by David Henry Hwang, go out and read it NOW. Best play I've read in a long time. Oh, and you should also see/read Angels in America by Tony Kushner immediately. Both absolutely beautiful, amazing plays. When life sucks, or I have a moment to luxuriate, I go to a museum, read a play, listen to classical music, see a dance concert, go to a dance class, anything to escape into passion and beauty. I really don't know what I do would do without art, without being surrounded by artists. So much emotion, rawness, truth, honesty, anger, love, everything is blown up to 100x the scale of everyday life. It's how I feel alive.
It's raining and I can hear seagulls calling. It feels like winter has arrived. I welcome it.
All I want to be doing right now is watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Or read GoF in a big comfy chair in front of a fire place. It's a Harry Potter kind of day. I guess I'll just go poke around harrypotter.com and mugglenet instead.

I use to go to musicals and jazz concerts a lot during high school and early in collage but I haven't gone to one in forever. Stupid time consuming homework haha.
