Ha ha, sounds like you had a good one!! Well, if Anton is feeling better by this coming w/end, I have a proposition to make: Why don't you two join us at Zeplins in Pretoria for their 6th birthday bash on Saturday night?? It's going to be a BEEG party - trust me biggrin I know that it's also Teknotribe's monthly jol on the 29th but, by coming out with us to another club instead, you'll be able to avoid the awkwardness of the whole icky Marisa situation - at least for another month anyway! - & it'll also give you a chance to really dress up, finally check out Zeplins, & party the night away with Anton away from the glaring spotlight cast upon you two amongst that incestuous & meddling Teknotribe crowd. I can absolutely 100% guarantee that you guys will love the Existanz dancefloor (EBM / Techno), & be bowled over by the sheer size of the current alternative scene. It's probably bigger than it's ever been. Here in Gauteng, anyway. You gotta see it to believe it. Seriously.

So whadya say, babe? Lemme know, 'kay?

It's a real pity you guys won't be able to join us on Saturday night frown , but I'm sure you'll have just as much fun bouncing around at Teknotribe smile

Lee-Boy & I are going down to Durbs for our mates, Del-boy & Sc@ry-Jane's, wedding on 9th September. Am really looking fwd to seeing my folks again...My poor mom has not been in a good way these past few months. She suffers from something called "coughing asthma" which manifests itself in the most horrendous coughing / choking fits. Sometimes, when they are really bad, she actually ends up vomiting &/or losing control of her bladder. And then follow the awful migraines. After each attack (which occur several times every day & night), she is left feeling physically exhausted. And not being able to get a full night's sleep obviously compounds the fatigue. I just feel totally desperate for her.

Apparently her main trigger is grasses, particularly sugarcane, of which, as you probably know, there is a serious abundance in & around Durbs. She has been on literally DOZENS of brands of inhalers, steriods & other bronchodilator medications delivered via nebuliser (a scary-looking, mask-like device that makes you sound like Darth Vader, which is used to reduce liquid medication to extremely fine cloudlike particles in order to reach deeper parts of the respiratory tract). But so far nothing has really worked for her. In fact, the coughing fits got so bad about a month ago that she actually lost her voice & hasn't regained it yet. She & I have been communicating via email & SMS, & second-hand telephone conversations passed on through my dad.

Apart from moving cities - away from that cursed sugarcane - I don't really know what other options she / they have left whatever And unfortunately it's not as easy as that anyway, as my dad has a well-established private Paediatric practice in Durbs (specialising in ADD & ADHD kids), & at 63 is far too old to start all over again eleswhere.

Oh, well, best I buckle back down to work now. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week
