I promised pictures. Yes, I'm actually posting a picture post.

Crazy eh?

So these are from my trip to the Philippines. It seems a world away and a league ago.

Along the roads there are these fruitstands everywhere. People selling whatever was growing on the trees above them or in the plantations behind them.

My mother owns a resort in Zambales. It's beautiful there. I took this after spending the night on one of the nearby islands.

The resort was still in the final stages of construction when I was there, but nearby neighbors decided to let their goats roam around. They get into everything.

I also spent some time in Manila proper. It was a stark look at of poverty and hardship.

While there, a little girl followed me as I snapped pictures. She had sad eyes.

This was the last photo I took on the trip. It's my fiancee and I, after waking up at 3AM, going through some 14 hours of flying, and well, talking to the customs agent in a super dopey state. That was real fun.
