I think it is really nice blog homework, because it made me jump into my calm and nice memories about my childhood so easily, thank you for this @rambo @missy @bloghomework
My grandma learned me how to read before I came in 1st grade in shcool. I was introvert child and did not have many friends, but I found my world, company and friends in books. I was very excitited when read adventures books of Jules Vern, "Twenty thousants leagues under the sea" and "Around the world in eighty days" was my favest.
Popular scientific literature was also my passion. My sister had a big collection of books for children which explains difficult things in easy way. I read so many times all that books and journals about space, sun and moon and other galaxies, structure and origin of Earth.
My interest of this topic is easy explains, why few years after I became Star Wars fun :) When my parents showed me the movies, I find out that there are also many books in this setting and since I was 13, I read them really a lot. Some of them was amazing, some of them least amazing. I still love all what Thimoty Zahn made. Trilogy of Trawn, "The last order", "Dark force rising", oh, it is great books in Extended Universe and I don't care it is not a lore any more.
In the same time, and when getting older, I also read out Ray Bradbury, Stanislaw Lem and many other sci-fi righters of XX century. I still love many of their books and read again sometimes.
PS: if you read me a while, I can imagine you may tired of my poor weird english :D but now I got hot and smart English tutor @ivylina and I believe my texts will more literature and easy to read soon :)
