I think there have been studies done (although I have nothing to cite) that find that most people have some degree of obsessive behavior. Me, I really like drawing connections between things, like "oh, this voice actor has done this, this, and this" or "hey, these songs all have the same title". And I have to open my cereal so when I pour it the front of the box faces out, so if someone looked at me it would be like a commercial.

Japan is 14 hours ahead of US Eastern time, 13 hours during daylight savings. IIt's a little after 9pm right now. 'm a night owl myself, which has always clashed horribly with every job I've ever had.

I knew about Polaris, it's actually Miracle Legion minus one member, although I think he showed up in "A Hard Day's Pete" with the rest of them. I've got the Polaris Pete & Pete soundtrack.
I knew the Magnetic Fields too; I'm not sure specifically which songs are theirs, but I saw their name in the credits. There's a thread in the music board here about them, and I've had to restrain myself from posting, "hey, aren't they the guys from Pete & Pete??"
