hey Ya'll... back from the home trip... very relaxed & ever so slightly sun burned... the east coast was beautiful... hot, humid, evening thunder storms.... warm ocean at the beach... like 86 degrees... so much fuckin food... I ate (for the first time in my redneck life) deep fried corn.... I kid you not... deep fried corn... sooo fucking good!.... it's sweet white corn just dropped into a deep fryer full of butter... no batter or anything... it carmelizes all the sugar in the corn... hellz yea...

the girl cutepillowdancer came down for three days & met the famdamily....... she is now liked more by my family more than I am.... my nieces love her, my mom loves her, my sister even got along with her.... and all my cousins threatened to cut me off if I didn't bring her back next reunion... she is so in... I love that girl... she's smart, she's an artist & an amazing dancer, a beautiful woman that I feel blessed to fall asleep next to, and she can talk to my Mom about the latest NASCAR race.... she makes me feel like a rockstar...

so summer is underway & I've gotta scramble for a little more work than I thought... the summer school gig kinda feel through but I think I've got a gig working for a GLTGBi comedy show at an little performance art space I've worked at over the years... could be fun... & maybe a little work up in SanFran... time to live frugal and hustle some work... just for a couple months until the regular gig kicks in in Sept....
otherwise... I'm looking forward to a summer of laying around in the garden in the sun, drinking a cocktail or two.... helping the girl find a place to live here in town.... taking the dogs on some hikes into the mountains... couple road/camping trips...lots o loungin' with the girl...
