Ryan went to sleep on Saturday at 9. They found him at 11, still in bed, no longer sleeping. Whether it was chemicals, heart problems, or sleep apnea, no one is sure. Ryan was a friend of mine. We went to the same high school. Our parents taught Sunday school at the same church. We went to shows together. When we had the bad summer where we got in fights with the Nazi Skins every night, we were both there. I haven't talked to him in years, but now that I know he is gone, I feel a little defeated.
