because Fox News can't possibly get away with making fun of Obama tonight (they would if they could), Shep "the smug asshole" decided to pretend to be indignant with Nader for making reference to Uncle Tom. Nader did not take the bait and clearly pointed out that context and full literary understanding are beyond the comprehension of any rabid, smug, arrogant pundit.
I thought that McCain's speech was the most gracious one in decades. Too bad he had to run the party line, and would have had to run the party line if elected. Allowed to act on his own, who knows? Probably would not have picked Palin for his VP. Obviously the right mistook V.P. to mean "very pretty". Unfortunately, their understanding of "very pretty" is a superficial version of what 50+ year olds think of surface lipstick/makeup pretty is. Too bad she's ugly to the youngin's, (both physically and spiritually).
Now, the most important thing will be the make up of Obama's cabinet. I hope he makes some good picks. Fuck politics. We need some real brains in there with real ideas.
