Colorado time will be cut short. I got here and the deal that we thought would make the business better was going down. Good thing for the business, but kind of a bummer to move from Colorado to Michigan. Nothing wrong with Michigan, but I'm east coast so it's like more of the same. Having an excuse to spend real time in Colorado on a regular basis was fun while it lasted.
I'll have to see my cousin before I leave. See if I can steal him away from his studies for a couple hours to go for a hike or kayak (like that would be difficult, ha ha). Glad I taught that dude how to kayak. At least someone else in the family understands the outdoor bum lifestyle now too.
Snow already tops the mountains above 9000 ft. I have to hike in there and get some photos. I want to do a couple of screen prints that are like those 1930's WPA posters, or the 1950's travel posters of the Alps. Ok. Really I just want an excuse to hike into the mountains for a day, enjoy the crisp air and sunshine before heading back to the dense fairy tale forrest of the northeast.
