i'm definitely gonna read The Constitution of No Authority. i appreciate anything regarded as treasonous. good thing thought crime isn't a reality. (yet)

i had a teacher in 9th grade who had us read Walden, and in the back of the book was Civil Disobedience. I give that teacher tons of credit for changing my outlook. and for giving me the balls to stand up. i've never been arrested, but i've been pepper sprayed by my share of cops. cops don't seem to like it if you ask them if their mothers are proud of them. especially when they're in full riot gear and all juiced on their own testosterone.

Ishmael is great cause it doesn't tell you how to fix anything. it just says "this is why it's all fucked up."

have you read any of the sequels? 'My Ishmael' was also excellent. i haven't read 'The Story of B' yet. although it's on my shelf.

yeah, still job hunting. i worked at Tower for a year. it's not all bad, but it's still too corporate for my blood. that said, i worked for Time Warner for 2 years, so you can do A LOT worse.
slowtostanding:
When I worked for Universal, I was always amazed to see all the different gold and platinum records lining the walls.. get a feel for all that history behind these big record labels. All the old Motown stuff, all the early stuff on Island Records.. so much great music.

Think of how much that Beatles master would go for on Ebay. Damn..

I was thinking what slowstanding said about selling the Beatles master on ebay. hehe. Dollar signs.

I love Billy Holiday...I need my man more than the blood in my body!
