It sounds very frightening. I hope it isn't serious. kiss

wsoxfan:
I'm so sorry that you're going through this. The worst pain I ever experienced was when I had an impacted tooth. No amount of painkillers helped.

I hope you're feeling better.
tubaart:
Do get that checked out with a doctor. It could be something very serious, and at the same time, something very treatable. Make sure you tell the doctor everything that happened - all the symptoms. It's probably ok to start with a general practitioner, but you will probably end up being sent to a neurologist. Good luck - and hope you're recovering well from this last bout! kiss
friscillating:
That sounds pretty typical for a complex migraine ... I'm sorry, because I know how debilitating and terrifying they can be, but the good news is that there are ways to address it. Have you had migraines before?
catdad:
It could be a migraine. There are medications that can eliminate or at least help them. I take one myself. There could also be something causing issues with blood flow in your brain. dmac had a brain hemorrhage that started out as the most intense head pain she's ever experienced. She was lucky to survive. You should definitely get yourself checked by a doctor sooner rather than later. Take care of yourself. smile
