I was stationed at Moody the last few years before I moved on to South Korea. Valdosta at least has something of a night life. Best thing for me being down there was the closeness of everywhere. A three hour drive could get you to the beach or Atlanta. The people where really awesome and I miss them. As far as something to do, if you can't find anything spending your time on here is not so bad. The SG community is pretty bad ass, so dig around and check out the forums. Only thing I'd highly recommend is a day trip to the GA aquarium in Atlanta if you haven't been. I went up there a lot, like 7-8 times. The aquarium itself is pretty kewl but the massive 6 million gallon tank with the whale sharks is flat amazing. I'd also stop through pine mountain on the way back. Really awesome national park up there that's very peaceful, FDR used to go up there a lot. His little white house is near there too. There's also some great food in the little diners in town. Being a GA native you may or may not know already, I know some of ya'll don't get around much, cheers and good luck finding folks = )

Thanks for the suggestions. I been keeping busy. I am from this area and I use to visit Moody as a kid to see air shows. I'm leaving end of the week and I've been keeping busy. THanks again
