Why is it so damned hard to find good and true friends in real life? You know, people who call you and appreciate you and let you know you mean something to them?

I'm starting to get really sad about the whole thing. My boyfriend is the only one really that has stuck with me through thick and thin lately. Any good friends I have are moving away, or just aren't good friends anymore. Any new friends I make end up only wanting sex or some other piece of me. Not me for me.

Interesting
Pretty
Entertaining
Loyal
Eccentric
Substantial
Active
Charming

If I am all of these things, then why do I feel so goddamned boring and lonely?

A wise indie rock god once said that every once in a while, you need to throw a wrench in the gears of your life.

I don't really know if that applies here, but maybe it's time to go meet new people, Are the friends that aren't really there for you long time friends? say kids you've known since before high school?

I realized a few years ago that i didn't really get along with any of my friends and these were people i had known since i was 8 years old.

Just don't let things get stale.

I'm a tad sleep deprived so i have no clue if this makes any sense.
