This is absolutely so sweet and so true! Representation is SO important and one of the few ways we have to battle toxic societal standards. I was absolutely thrilled when they asked me to be in the current Choose a Hopeful contest and it gave me a boost of hope that they will start highlighting more plus sized women in this community. Diversity is crucial, especially in today's current climate, so I hope that we'll start seeing a higher exceptance of all body types being selected for SOTD! π
This is so true. Sadly, society don't like us. We have and we need to change this. SG should take more chances to us so we can have more visibility, once this community embrace all bodies and ethnics π
Awww thanks for the mention, gorgeous! I definitely agree. I want to see more BBWs on SG social media and front page. Some plus models do get shown, but I cell like they all fit into an acceptable standard of being plus size. I don't see SG give very many girls outside of this specific look, really any mentions or turning pink. It's really really sad
This is a super important blog! I agree and really want to see more BBW girls on FP. I think the site needs this a lot, and the member needs to get more and more used to seeing bbw girls on fp!

Yesss! I always encourage some of my chubby friends to join SG, my dream is to see less "society perfect" bodies as SOTD and more of the "not so conventional" ones!
