We're in the season again for the perseids except this year it is expected to be the brightest during it's peak. Peak is 8/11-8/13 esp. the 12th. Moon just getting past it's full may obscure the smaller burners but we should have some spectacular flares. There were a few nice ones last year but we're hoping to see some sweet ones this year. The perseids are best viewed from the northern hemisphere north east section of sky seeming to come from the direction of the constellation Perseus, hence it's name. Have a great night(s) of stargazing!
