Well here I am. First week in Portland is behind me.
The apartment turned out the be a little smaller then I expected. It works just fine though. I couldn't fit too much in my car anyway. I left all the furniture in Texas to be sold. I GET TO BUY NEW STUFFS!
Living downtown seems pretty awesome so far. There isn't anything I can think of that isn't within walking distance.
.... there is the parking thing though...
My apartment building does not include reserved parking so I'm stuck buying a monthly pass from the city.
Culinary school kicks off late next month. All my junk is square with the school so I'm just waiting to start. I am meeting with some people next week to see about finding a job.
One thing I'm still looking for is a place to have a drink! I see plenty of places to eat and all, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm looking for some live music and some bar tabs.
