Just before I leave here alltogether, I thought I'd take minute to say why I am leaving SG.
All things change and all things die. SG is no different. "Once there was a dream that was Rome."
you might say that some things, once above board, can no longer be considered "underground".
I love that women of all shapes, sizes, and modification can be free to *be* admired as beautiful without having to be some airbrushed barbie doll. I get that, i really do. But i don't think that's here anymore. I think things changed and the notion of a "grass roots" rebellion against "the beauty myth" isn't really an SG agenda. Once it gets to Playboy, it's not really a rebellion against anything.
I guess i got too old for the commuity that I have found, or rather that community got to old for me. 'm still a bit more free than most of what I found here at SG.
I am so glad to know that there are so many people who think for themselves and find freedom to express those thoughts. I'm beyond that now you see ... I'm not "alternative" or "liberal" I am "radical" or "extremist". I doubt that i could find many like minded people here or anywhere ... I'm not sure I want to find like minded people anywhere. I fear that groups of people with my politics probably shouldn't gather.
Anyway I guess as soon as I expire that will be that.
Since very few people read my journal, very few people will even know I was ever here.

Except for a select few people who are "ugly" deep in their hearts, everybody has some kind of beauty.
Society has perpetrated a "beauty myth" against young women in western society for far too long. Dictating what is and what is not beautiful. I'm glad there are groups like SG that expand upon that very narrow image.
Too many girls tan until their skin is orange, bleach their hair, and dress like prostitutes in the name of "beauty". I am glad to see that someone gives the girls with tattoos and piercings, or just the girls with a different sense of style a chance to feel and be seen as beautiful.
I have heard some things from some of the girls on this site that give me the opinion that SG ownership may not be quite so noble after all. I don't know first hand so I reserve judgement. I do see that the shape of SG is turning to more professional photography less about a girl saying "here i am, this what i do, this is what I look like, I think I'm beautiful."
Politically, I think that government of people is less effective than administration of tasks ... the concept that ownership of material items creates societal class structures which favor the "haves" over the "have nots". Such concpets eventually lead to communism. not so popular.
