My mom does similarly nerdy stuff all the time... like when my brother was in a band (with my first boyfriend, aww) they'd be downstairs playing something like, say, Slayer - Seasons in the abyss. (Or their ultra fan teenage basement band version of it, which I loved!) Anyway, my mother would be upstairs in the kitchen humming it in her church choir lady voice, and also adding new words that she'd sort of make up as she went along, like half Mariah Carey half Air Supply lyrics. Oh yeah. Will I be that someday?
